On Apr. 8, Tainan City Government announced footprints of four newly confirmed cases from other cities.
Case #25152 is a male in his twenties from New Taipei City. He started to feel a sore throat and fatigue on Apr. 3. By using a COVID-19 home-test kit, he was tested positive on Apr. 5; he visited a hospital for specimen collection and was confirmed as a COVID-19 case by PCR with a Ct value of 18.2.
Case #25218 is a boy less than ten years old living in New Taipei City. He had symptoms such as fever, cough and diarrhea on Apr. 5 and he then visited a hospital for specimen collection on Apr. 6, where his test result is positive with a Ct value of 19.1.
Case #25443 is a male in his thirties living in Kaohsiung City. He started to experience a fever, fatigue, muscle ache, cough and diarrhea successively between Apr. 4 and the day afterward He conducted a COVID-19 home-test kit on Apr. 5 and received a positive result. He then was confirmed as COVID-19 case after receiving specimen collection in a hospital; his Ct value is 14.3.
Case #26205 is a male in his twenties from New Taipei City without any symptoms. On Apr. 5, he was identified to undergo home isolation as someone in his workplace was confirmed. He received specimen collection on Apr. 7 and was a confirmed as a COVID-19 case with a Ct value of 35.
