On Mar. 7, Tainan City Government announced two newly confirmed cases. They are both family members (not living together) of Case #20912 from Yanshui District announced before.
Case #20995 is a teenager girl living in Yanshui District. She received two doses of COVID-19 vaccination and has no symptoms. As Case #20973 and #20974 were confirmed, she was identified to undertake home isolation and specimen collection and was then tested positive on Mar. 6 with a Ct value of 9.2.
Case #20996 is a female in her forties from Xinying District. She received two doses of COVID-19 vaccinations and started to cough and feel sputum in her throat. On Mar. 5, she was identified to undertake home isolation due to Case #20912. She then was arranged to receive specimen collection and was confirmed as a COVID-19 case with a Ct value of 30.84 on Mar. 6.
Above-mentioned cases’ footprints were listed in the attachment. The city government urges who took the same public transportation as cases did on Mar. 1 to Mar. 4 (please refer to the attachment) to acquire a COVID-19 home-test kit with your ID card from health stations of 37 districts for self-test.
