1. No domestic cases were reported today (15th); let’s keep up the good work. I’d like to thank the Public Health Bureau and concerned departments for their cooperation. So long as no new cases occur in Tainan during the quarantine period, we can safely say that this wave of the Omicron variant has come to an end in Tainan. Hopefully, there will be no more new cases in the future. I urge all departments to work together and continue to uphold epidemic prevention measures.
2. Please implement traffic control measures before the opening of the 2022 Taiwan International Orchid Show. Since there are construction sites in the area, it is important to ensure that construction fencing will not obstruct roads or hinder driving vision. To minimize the impact on traffic, ensure safety, and prevent traffic accidents, please make sure that there are no potholes or ditches caused by construction work.

The popularity of mobile payment systems is an important indicator of how advanced a nation is. In particular, the pandemic highlighted the importance and convenience of mobile payment systems. That being said, the security concerns that arise with mobile payments should be addressed. Information security isn't a local issue but a national or even a global challenge. I implore the Central Government and major players to work together in upholding the security of transactions and information. In recent years, the transaction volume and payment amount associated with mobile payments have skyrocketed. While this is a phenomenon that we should celebrate, concerned departments must pay particular attention to scams carried out via mobile payment platforms.

The annual Taiwan International Orchid Show has become a major local attraction. The show has enjoyed longstanding popularity, and it is something we should be proud of. High-ranking government officials, including presidents and premiers, have visited almost every single one of Tainan’s annual orchid shows. The municipal government will also put in invitations for Central Government officials to visit this year’s show. What matters even more is the recognition that this show receives from Tainan's residents and Taiwan's citizens. I look forward to having a record-breaking number of visitors to this year's show in Taiwan’s city of orchids—Tainan.
