The Public Works Bureau is undertaking the new construction project for a daycare resource center in Annan District. During the review meeting, please advise architects on the case to avoid using unconventional approaches, materials, or patented goods, as these can lead to massive increases in our budget. Concerned departments should also take note of this requirement. I ask the Economic Development Bureau to expedite the tender recruitment process for the construction project to improve public facilities in Liouying Technology Industrial Park (replacing outdated facilities at the water treatment plant). The Economic Development Bureau should also pay attention to the equipment transfer and the operational capabilities of the tender bidders. Please ensure that interested companies are truly able to undertake this project.

Tainan City is home to many urban indigenous people. The urban indigenous population is made up of mountain-area and plain-area indigenous people. In addition to upholding the health of indigenous seniors, cultural health stations are also focused on preserving indigenous culture. I encourage the Indigenous Peoples Affairs Commission to continue working with the Central Government in expanding these stations. Please accelerate the progress of setting up the cultural health station in the north of the city and fulfill our objective of safeguarding the health and honoring the culture of indigenous peoples.

Because of Tainan’s natural conditions and the municipal government’s efforts, we have a booming tourism industry. The government, hotels, B&Bs, and concerned businesses have all worked hard to promote tourism in Tainan. The Tourism Bureau, Cultural Affairs Bureau, and Agriculture Bureau host a variety of events to attract people to visit Tainan, which has benefited the tourism sector in the city. I encourage the Tourism Bureau, Cultural Affairs Bureau, and Agriculture Bureau to continue to host events and boost tourism so that the government, businesses and the public can take pride in Tainan. I anticipate the Tourism Bureau to take the lead on this.
