I suggest the Public Works Bureau help the Bureau of Education review the construction drawings for the new kindergarten buildings in Jiaba Elementary School. Please minimize unnecessary or unique designs to encourage more construction firms to bid on the tender.

(1) In addition to encouraging retirees to travel, the Silver Heritage Program also helps senior citizens identify new life goals by passing on traditional craftsmanship and life skills to the community or underprivileged groups. This program has a positive goal, and I encourage the Social Affairs Bureau to continue promoting it.
(2) Tainan has the highest daycare coverage among the six municipalities. The municipal government will continue to promote daycare, seeing that demand for daycare and long-term care will only increase with our aging population. The municipal government will also roll out long-term care facilities that are accommodation-based to ensure that more senior citizens in Tainan are well taken care of.
2. The Tourism Bureau’s report on the 2022 Guanziling Hot Spring Food Festival (refer to written sources for detail)）

Mayor’s remarks:
(1) Recently, the Tourism Bureau has held several events, such as 2022 Disney Mickey and Friends Chilling in Tainan and the Guanziling Hot Spring Food Festival, which have increased the number of visitors in what would have been a slow season following the pandemic and summer vacation. Guanziling Hot Spring Food Festival has quite a bit of history. I ask the Tourism Bureau to consider how to create novelty in this traditional event and attract even more visitors to come to Guanziling. Please consider pairing food with activities, and designing vacation packages with neighboring attractions in Houbi, Dongshan, and Baihe. This should increase the number of visitors. I would like to thank the Tourism Bureau for its hard work.
(2) Based on recent polls, residents and visitors are extremely satisfied with Tainan’s culture, tourism, and health. I urge all departments to keep up the good work. Let us make Tainan an even more livable city and increase our citizens’ sense of pride and wellbeing.
