1. As summer vacation is drawing to a close, I'd like to urge the Bureau of Education to ensure that schools are cleaned and that epidemic prevention measures are in place. Moreover, on the day after tomorrow (31st), we are expecting a typhoon with extremely high wind speeds. I ask all departments to be well-prepared and implement typhoon safety measures. Additionally, I request that relevant departments reinforce trees, advertisements, scaffolding, and signs to prevent any public safety incidents.
2. Today (29th), we've reached a record high in confirmed cases of Dengue fever. I urge the Bureau of Education to maintain strict cleanliness and epidemic prevention measures in schools. I also request that all departments diligently implement measures to prevent the spread of the epidemic.

(1) After the decommissioning of private schools, we have successfully repurposed their campuses through collaboration between the central and local government, as well as partnerships between the local government and civil organizations. Taiwan Shoufu University serves as a prime example of this successful transition to local government use. Beyond cost savings, it enhances land and building utilization efficiency, increases recreational spaces available to the public, and stands as an outstanding paradigm. We look forward to the continued success of such initiatives.
(2) Planning the transformation after the decommissioning of private schools presents various challenges, including facility relocation and rights allocation. I urge Deputy Mayor Yeh to oversee the Finance and Local Tax Bureau and relevant departments in actively engaging with central government agencies and fostering open communication with elected representatives at the central government level. This will ensure that the planning aligns with the needs of the central government, local government, and the public, resulting in a mutually beneficial outcome.
(3) In the near future, we will be developing plans for the relocation of Yongkang Artillery School, which includes extensive buildings and green spaces. This development will play a pivotal role in the overall growth of Yongkang District and Tainan. I urge the Finance and Local Tax Bureau to take the lead and call upon the Bureau of Urban Development, Land Administration Bureau, and other concerned departments to craft a comprehensive plan for tourism and leisure industries in the area. This will further enrich the urban development of our city.

(1) Tainan holds the distinction of being Taiwan's first city to hold a major significance in the Age of Exploration. I encourage the Bureau of Tourism to incorporate this historical aspect into their narrative, aligning it with the upcoming Tainan 400 celebrations. Due to the recent typhoon, the event's opening has been postponed to September 8. I kindly request the Bureau of Tourism to prepare adequately for typhoon precautions, and I am enthusiastic about the prospect of a renewed surge in tourism during this event.
(2) With this event spanning the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, we anticipate a larger turnout than in previous years. I ask that concerned departments ensure traffic safety, manage crowd flow, install portable restrooms, and maintain environmental cleanliness. It is also crucial to implement measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. I am optimistic that this event will be executed successfully and seamlessly.
