As the rainy season gradually comes to an end and the weather becomes more stable, it's important to maintain our efforts in preventing Dengue fever and controlling the spread of the epidemic. This year’s National Day celebration is scheduled for October 8 in Tainan, followed by the National Games from October 21 to 26. We urge all concerned departments to be thoroughly prepared. (1) This summer, the number of accidents involving teenagers has been lower than in previous years. There have been no incidents related to water safety, off-campus incidents, or occupational accidents. All implemented measures have met their targets. I would like to extend my gratitude to the Police Department, the Bureau of Education, and the Labor Bureau, among other departments, for their dedicated efforts. Your commitment has led to a continuous decrease in the occurrence rate of accidents.
(2) With the summer coming to an end and students returning to their campuses, outdoor and off-campus activities are significantly reduced. However, during weekends and extended holidays, students often engage in leisurely activities, making them more susceptible to accidents. I urge concerned departments to continue enhancing measures to protect teenagers during these times.
(3) Preventing issues involving children and teenagers requires the coordinated efforts of multiple departments. During summer vacation, the municipal government provides opportunities for part-time work and internships for students. This not only allows students to earn income during the summer but also reduces the occurrence of employment fraud. I extend my gratitude to the Police Department and other departments for their efforts and assistance in safeguarding the well-being of teenagers.

(1) Two years ago, the central government chose Tainan as the host city for the 2023 National Day fireworks celebration. This decision underscores the central government’s commitment to the development of southern Taiwan. Opting for the Air Force Base as the venue to celebrate our nation's birthday is a recognition of the dedicated efforts of our armed forces in safeguarding our homeland. I kindly request the Civil Affairs Bureau and concerned departments to make thorough preparations for the event, ensuring smooth logistics, a clean environment, and excellent on-site services. This will be an opportunity to showcase the dedication of our municipal government team.
(2) Regarding transportation arrangements and parking plans for the event, we must enhance guidance and traffic management to ensure seamless mobility. I urge the Police Department and civilian patrol teams to intensify their efforts in maintaining the safety of vehicles in the transportation and shuttle areas and preventing any security incidents. Additionally, I request that relevant departments plan pedestrian-friendly environments and provide clear signage for the convenience of attendees.
