2. I ask the Public Works Bureau to assist the Economic Development Bureau in improving and updating old industrial parks. The implementation rate of infrastructure funded by general subsidies should be included in year-end evaluations. I ask the secretary-general to see to this matter. The Bureau of Sports should complete its venue renovation projects according to schedule while upholding quality, which will ensure the smooth progress of sports games and improve the Central Government's evaluation of the municipal government.

The Tainan Shopping Festival is an event that is known nationwide. Tainan has hosted this event for years. Although a major part of the public's focus is on the prizes for the raffle, the key to this event is Tainan’s delicious food, excellent service and accommodation, and outstanding produce. I would like to thank the Economic Development Bureau’s hard work. I ask the Tourism Bureau and Cultural Affairs Bureau to assist in the marketing of the Tainan Shopping Festival and provide local businesses and residents with additional support after the impacts caused by COVID-19. The better we do, the better for Tainan’s residents.

(1) The Sinying Sweets Festival was first held in 2020. This year marks the third time that the festival has been held. The festival has become somewhat of a tradition north of Zhengwen River, especially in greater Sinying. Many people look forward to participating in this event. Hosting this festival after the height of COVID-19 gives young people and students a place to visit during the holidays. Some attractions include Changsheng Barracks, Sinying Railway Cultural Park, and Swan Lake. This festival is a great way to let the public know about all the fun locations in Sinying. Also, it will increase the number of visitors to neighboring Houbi Ordinary Woman Village, Dongshan, Yanshuei, Baihe, cow farms in Liouying, and Deyuanpi Holland Village. Visitors from all corners are welcome to visit Tainan.
(2) Please ensure that epidemic prevention measures are followed during the Sinying Sweets Festival. The cleanliness of the venues must also be maintained. We should learn from our mistakes and make improvements, thereby preventing unnecessary criticism and ensuring the success of this event.
