As more cases of coronavirus have been reported, bureaus that are about to hold large events should be fully prepared and have comprehensive prevention measures planned in advance to ensure public safety. If physical events are cancelled, alternative plans should be prepared for holding online events. At this moment, disease prevention is our highest priority. Under this principle, all bureaus should put efforts into making sure that events are still carried out smoothly.

This year, the city government has held numerous large events, which further emphasizes the importance of traffic control. It is our hope that traffic can be improved through the construction of new parking lots and roads, and excellent management from traffic control center.

As mentioned, citizens care a lot about traffic, public order, and the environment. It is extremely important that a safe living environment is provided. As can be seen from the report, Tainan has seen great results in maintaining law and order, reflected by a growing rate of solving criminal; cases, a decreased number in fraud cases and traffic incidents, and the enforcement of laws against drug-related crimes. Behind all these numbers are the efforts and hard work of our colleagues. The Police Department and the Department of Information should make such achievements known to the public through news releases and push notifications of communication apps.
